The Big Bang at the Williamson Theatre & FIA Visit (01)

Have you ever wanted to invest in a Broadway musical?  Jed and Boyd need your cash! In this outrageous musical comedy, two wanna-be tycoons are desperate to line up funding for their new project, The Big Bang, so they’ve set up a “backer’s audition” and you’re invited!  With a cast of hundreds, the overblown extravaganza they’ve written is the biggest Broadway has ever seen.  It depicts the entire history of the world, the formation of the planets, Adam and Eve, the pyramids and even Cher.  This zany song-and-dance romp will leave you breathless!  The Williamson Theatre attracts top professional talent from around the state to their intimate 100-seat theatre.  Our day begins with a stop at the Flint Institute of Arts to peruse their collection, then we head to Tavern 109 right by the theatre for a three-course lunch, followed by the 3 p.m. matinee.  Our package includes admission to the museum, lunch, show tickets and motorcoach transportation from SVSU.
