Life at SVSU

Dean of the College of Business & Management Dr. Marwan Wafa notes, SVSU is the “perfect” size: it is not too small (9,500 students) and not too large (class sizes average 25 students). At SVSU, students get the one-on-one attention they need or desire. Faculty recognize students by name and are available as a resource, both academically and often times personally.

Many international faculty are sensitive to the special needs of international students since they were once themselves foreign students. In the classroom, these faculty members are able to bring a global perspective to learning and remind us that we are all a part of the world community.

A Snapshot of SVSU

The campus of SVSU is also a welcoming community to its students. The compactness of the campus and its state-of-the-art buildings make for an inviting and learning-conducive environment.
