Pinterest with Program Board: Picture Perfect

September 5th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the Programming Rooms in Student Life

Join Program Board in making DIY decorated chalkboard picture frames and painted wood picture frames. All supplies are included, just bring your student ID.

Intramural Fantasy Football Draft

September 6th at 9:00 pm in Ryder 255

The Intramural Sports Program is hosting your Fantasy Football League! The draft will take place online, so bring your laptops to draft with the Campus Recreation staff. Pizza and drinks will be provided.

9/11 Heroes Run

September 11th at 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at Saginaw Valley State University

Join SVSU and the Travis Manion Foundation for the 4th annual 9/11 Heroes Run. The event honors service members and first-responders in the surrounding communities. This family friendly event will begin at 6:30pm with a 5k and 400m run for children and conclude with food and games. Proceeds will be divided between the Travis Manion Foundation and Aaron’s gifts from Home, a local non-profit organization. Registration is open until the day of the race.

Coffee House: Alumni Night

September 11th at 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm in the Thompson Student Activities Room

Program Board invites you to join them with the kick-off to their bi-weekly open mic night! This night will be a special showing of our Alumni as they return to entertain you with instruments, singing, and poetry reading. Free coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and pastries will be available as you enjoy the entertainment.

Alcohol Permits for Residential Students

September 12th at 7:30 pm in the Alumni Lounge

All residential students who are 21 and over and wish to possess/consume alcohol in their room, should bring a valid government ID confirming birthdate. A brief educational program prior to validation of alcohol permit.

CARDS Party

September 13th at 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the O'Neill Arena (Ryder Center)

CARDS’ Party is a student involvement fair where student organizations, non-profits, and businesses gather to educate students about the many opportunities in our community. This is a ‘come and go as you please’ event! Entertainment includes: Free Food, DJ, Photobooth, Prizes and tons and tons of giveaways.

Melvin J. Zahnow Library Grand Re-opening

Septmeber 14th at 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm in the main entrance to the Library

Join SVSU in celebrating the Grand Re-Opening of the Melvin J. Zahnow Library. Tours will be offered after the beginning ceremony to all four floors of the library with free food samples from your favorite on campus eateries including Starbucks, Subway, and Panada Express.
