Academic Programs - Department of Nursing
The need for nurses with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N. degree) is steadily increasing and the opportunities to practice in a wide range of settings continues to expand. The B.S.N. is often necessary for administrative positions, and it is a prerequisite for admission to graduate nursing education. SVSU also offers a Masters of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) for positions in research, consulting, teaching, or advanced practice nursing.
