Award Day Information

MMPC Award Day will be on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Saginaw Valley State University. All the activities will be in Curtiss Hall (#9 on SVSU map ). To get to the map, start with www.svsu.edu , click on Quicklinks, then on Campus map and that take you to Campus map, Direction to SVSU, and other information.

Gathering and talks will be held in the Rhea Miller Recital Hall, Curtiss Hall, Saginaw Valley State University.

The schedule is as follows:

2:00pm Welcome: Hasan Al-Halees, MMPC Director

2:30pm 1st Talk: Professor Garry Johns, Department of Mathematical Sciences,

SVSU, The Mathematician's Secret: Seeing the Invisible

3:30pm Break

4:00pm 2nd Talk: Professor Jerrold Grossman, Department of Mathematics and

Statistics, Oakland University, The Joy of Recursion.

5:00pm Adjourn

5:30pm Banquet (Curtiss Hall 2^nd floor)

6:00pm Dinner

7:00pm Awards

9:00pm End of Program
