MLK Regional Scholarship

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. several community foundations, collectively, have established and implemented a scholarship opportunity to be awarded to high school seniors across the region who have demonstrated Dr. King's teachings.

In the past, the community foundations have awarded as many as 15 $1,000 scholarships. On January 21, 2015, Saginaw Valley State University will host the Great Lakes Bay Regional Martin Luther King, Jr. event, and scholarship recipients will be recognized.

Applicants must complete the MLK Scholarship Application (251kB) by October 31, 2014. Recipients of the scholarships will be notified by Monday, December 1, 2014.
