Membership

Society membership is comprised of Associates and Full Members. 

Associate Membership is extended to persons who are enrolled in the Certified Public Manager^® program.   Associate Members cannot vote or hold State or National Office. 

Full Society Membership is extended to those persons that have completed the entire CPM training program and have earned the designation "Certified Public Manager^®" (CPM). Certification, in Michigan, is obtained through Saginaw Valley State University.  For information on the next cohort CPM program, click here.    

Membership in the Michigan Society of Certified Public Managers^® automatically includes the equivalent level of membership in the American Academy of Certified Public Managers^®. The Society's "Membership Year" runs from January 1^st to December 31^st
