    1. AAA Math
      Outstanding
      For a number of counting related activities, this has counting up to 10 (for the more challenged students) and 20 (for the students who need a bit more of a challenge). It even takes it to the next level and works on number words and the coorelation to the number symbols, or counting backwards.

    3. Aol at School
      This site provides students K - 4 with the opportunity to play math games. Teachers are provided with general information and other teacher resource sites.
    4. Aplusmath
      This site has many online activities for the early elementary group, however if upper elementary students are struggling with math facts then this site would also facilitate these groups.
    5. Colour It
      Second graders will be able to practice counting by 2's, 3's, 4's, and 5's. To check to see if they are correct, all they have to do is see if the spaces they colored made a picture. If they get stuck, there is a button (the letter "H" key) that they can push to see what numbers would be multiples of the number they are working on.

      This interactive site identifies grade levels as well as math topics. A wide variety of math activities are available.
    7. Cookie Dough
      This site has students read and write whole numbers. Spelling numbers words is required by the student to play the game. There isn't problem solving or open ended questions, but it provides good practice in reading and writing numbers 1 through 10,000.  Grade level 2nd and 3rd.

      This is an on-line math book which takes students from beginning operations through operations with integers, fractions, and decimals. The book is interactive giving students an opportunity to problem solve on line. The explanations are clear and concise. Elementary and middle school students can use this site as review.

      Interactive site which allows students to manipulate fraction bars to help develop a understanding of fractions.  This site also includes description, teacher lesson plans, guidelines and insturctions on how to use this applet.
    11. Guess the Number
      This is an interactive site which requires students to compare and order numbers through prompts. The game will tell if their guess is greater than or less than the mystery number. A great review of whole numbers and their position relative to each other. This is a student activity. Be sure to click on "Games".

      Interactive site which allows students to identify and rename fractions along with adding, subtracting and so on. Grades 2 and up.

      Play a "Connect-Four" style game, earning a game piece each time you answer an arithmetic question correctly. This game asks the players to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers and integers. Choose difficulty level, question types, and time limit.

      Outstanding - This site has a list of interactive math games. The students can interact with the games by using numbers for counting, ordering, naming, and locating.

      Here is K-2 interactive site for students with math. This is a counting game for students to play with a partner or by themselves.
    18. Let's Count
      This site has activities that are colorful and student friendly. Reading has been kept to a minimum. These activities are designed to give pre- or early-numeration children practice in counting using both symbols and names of numbers.
    19. Math Magician
      This site is a good, timed review for any of the facts 0-10 on addition, subtraction, multiplication, and/or division. At the end, the student can print out a certificate/award showing their score. Elementary students, or any students that need an extra review with some fun to it would benefit from playing at this site.

    21. Max's Math Adventures - Now - Next Patterns
      Outstanding - The Summer Mystery Garden is a math and language arts game involving now - next patterns for students in grades K-2. Hosts Max and Ruthie challenge young students to solve math problems by using clues embedded in a fun rhyming poem. Students receive immediate feedback from Max and are encouraged to self-assess by comparing their answers to Max and Ruthie's. The Extension activities and Teacher Guide are very beneficial.

      This site was developed by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).  It uses interactive animation to help children in grades preK through 2 practice number basics. The site contains online games for children, printable work sheets, teacher and parent links, and songs.
    24. Ordering Numbers
      The student will order random numbers from least to greatest or vice versa. Grade level appropriate, 2nd and up.
    25. Pattern Blocks
      This student interactive site offers uses patterned blocks to explore the concepts of fractions and the operations performed on fractions. It has descriptions, instructions and links to other teacher resources.

      This site allows teachers to connect children's literature with the concept of patterns and their relationships.

      This is an interactive site that has activities for sequencing for K-5.
    28. Patterns Here, There, and Everywhere
      This is a unit which follows a ten day lesson plan. It involves the student in collecting and organizing real-world items into patterns. The student should be able to design a plan to solve problems using manipulatives, organizing and interpreting data, and using patterns. The unit involves station work, ideas for assessment techniques, and integration of Patterns Across the Curriculum. The student activities are not computer interactive, but are classroom activities.

      Students repair sections of the railroad in the game "Railroad Repair."  Students choose the best combination of numbers to repair each section, starting with whole numbers and progressing to decimals.

      This site is a site with multiple games for review for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and/or division. Elementary students, or any students that need an extra review with some fun to it would benefit from playing at this site. The students can end when they have completed a sufficient number of problems for a review. This can be determined by teacher and/or student.

      This site provides teachers with many resources and lesson plans pertaining to Patterns and Relationships. Activities range for grade levels K-6. The activities provide many opportunities for students to represent and record patterns and relationships in a variety of ways. This site contains teacher lesson plans.

      This site offers broad student interactive opportunities in Number Sense and Numeration.
    33. Squigly's Apples
      The student will be asked to identify the ordinal number to show which apple Squigly is hiding in. This activity is appropriate for grade levels K-2.

      Students use "an elevator" to recognize, create, and extend knowledge of patterns. this is a lesson plan designed to help students explore patterns and relationships. A 100's chart is utilized to help students visualize the concept.

      This is a wonderful student interactive site. The site provides students with opportunities to play games which reinforce addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts. The math games include: Matho bingo, Concentration with Math Facts; Find the Hidden Picture with math facts and flashcards.

      This site teaches arithmetic properties covered in K-8 math courses. Each page has an explanation interactive practice and challenge games about arithmetic properties. Students can practice, play and explore.

      Outstanding This is an excellent activity for reinforcing or giving more practice to the struggling student on how to group by 10's to make the "bigger" number. The students choose ten blocks to group until there can be no more groups (either there aren't any left, or there are not enough left to make a complete group of 10). Once they have reached that point and clicked okay, the number is shown to them (ie. 1 group of ten and 4 left over is 14).

      Here is a second grade interactive math game with addition facts. The student drags the given number to the "addition chart" format. Each time the addition fact is answered a piece of the puzzle is revealed to the student. They are learning their addition facts and anxiously awaiting to see the whole picture of ladybugs and flowers appear.
    4. Alien Addition
      Here is a First grade interactive math game with addition facts. The student watches the space ship come down with the addition fact on it. The student needs to mentally add the single-digit fact before pressing the space bar to answer the fact. The background is colorful as well as entertaining. The student is having fun and learning his addition math facts.
    5. Ambleweb Addition Machine
      Here is an interactive site for students in first and second grade. Student can do mental math in addition by pulling a lever for level one, level two and level three. The math facts will be one-digit or two digit numbers. The students total score is given each time a addition problem is answered.

      This site provides a lesson plan for teachers. It also provides user friendly interactive activities in which the student explores whole decimal numbers and place values. Grades 2 and up.

      Students can work on finding missing values in open sentences (ie. 4 + ? = 12) by using relationships between addition and subtraction at this site. This is a definite math strength builder for addition and subtraction.

      Subtraction facts are a bit more difficult to master than addition facts, since they are based on addition facts. Here the students can get practice with subtraction while enjoying some fun games to keep their attention.

      This is a lesson where students will ultimately work on addition and multiplication skills.       Interactive site which allows students to manipulate interger bars to help develop a understanding of basic math concepts.  This site also includes description, teacher lesson plans, guidelines and instructions on how to use this applet.
    12. Interactive Mathematics-Geometry
      This site contains a multitude of activities using virtual manipulatives to explore a variety of geometric skills. It also gives instructions for use and has links to math benchmarks in other areas.
    13. Let's Count
      This site has activities that are colorful and student friendly. Reading has been kept to a minimum. These activities are designed to give pre- or early-numeration children practice in counting using both symbols and names of numbers.
    14. Line Jumper
      Line Jumper is an interactive student activity where students will work with addition and subtraction utilizing a number line. Different levels of ability will make this activity appropriate for K-5 students.

      Are you a math magician? Test your skill with these math operation challenges in this brainy game, and if you make the grade, you will earn a math magician certificate.
    16. Measure It
      An interactive game for students to measure the length of a red line using a ruler.  Students choose from easy to hard levels using inches or centimeters.  Students will explore whole and part numbers in this activity.

      Students match fractions represented by pictures with fractions represented by numbers at various skill levels.
    18. Number Patterns
      The student will create number patterns on a hundreds chart. The pattern may be skip counting or number patterns. Grade level 3 and up.

      This is an interactive site that has activities for addition, fractions, decimals, division, and number usage for K-5.
    20. Pattern Blocks - Exploring Fractions with Shapes
      This student interactive site offers uses patterned blocks to explore the concepts of fractions and the operations performed on fractions. It has descriptions, instructions and links to other teacher resources.
    21. PBS Kids: Cyberchase
      Students repair sections of the railroad in the game "Railroad Repair."  Students choose the best combination of numbers to repair each section, starting with whole numbers and progressing to decimals.
    22. Pizza Party Fractions
      This interactive game asks the students to identify how much pizza is left. Grade level 2 and up
    23. Playing Fraction Track
      Mathematical games can foster mathematical communication as students explain and justify their moves to one onother. These games can motivate students and engage them in thinking about and applying concepts and skills. Grade 2 - 5
    24. Saloon Snap
      The student will match fractions with equivalent decimals and percentages. The site has tips and key ideas to help the student if needed. Grade levels 4 and up. Other learning games are available at this site.
    25. Shodor Interactive Number and Operations
      This site offers broad student interactive opportunities in Number Sense and Numeration.
    26. Shape & Space in Geometry
      Using coordinate geometry, students play "Taxicab Treasure Hunt," a game in which they make moves on the grid to reach the treasure.  This game reinforces ordinal numbers, and map skills. Open-ended questions are given at the end of the activity for students to practice constructed response.
    27. The Number Game
      On this site children read the number word and pick the number that matches. The game has ten questions. The student must be able to read number words one to ten to play
    28. Understanding Fractions
      The student will select enough objects to equal the fractional amount shown. For example, what is 1/2 of 16? Grade level 2 - 8.  The site is also displayed in Spanish.
    29. Visual Fractions
      This site provides student interaction with visual respresentations of fractions on several different levels. Representations of function operations are included as well as printable student report cards.
