    4. Learning about Number Relationships and Properties of Numbers Using Calculators and Hundred Boards: Displaying Number Patterns
      A major learning goal for students in the primary grades is to develop an understanding of properties of and relationships among numbers.  Building on students' intuitive understanding of patterns and number relationships, teachers can further the development of number concepts and logical reasoning as described in this site.

      An interactive game for students to find the next number in a series of numbers by identifying the common element.  Students can choose from easy to hard levels.

    1. Coloring Multiples in Pascal's Triangle
      Students find numbers in Pascal's Triangle that are divisible by a given number.
    2. Eggs on Legs Multiplication
      Students play an interactive game trying to crack the "eggsact" egg with the correct multiplication problem.
    3. Math Playground Pumpkin Multiples
      Students are to catch pumpkins, using the arrow keys to move, that are multiples of the number chosen at the beginning of the game. After collecting all the multiples a score sheet pops up and tells you the number correct, how many should have been caught, and the actual multiples of the number.
    4. Math Playground What is a prime number?
      A 4 minute video that answers the question "what is a prime number?" The video shows a white board with a definition for prime numbers and a pen then writes on the board using examples, showing factors, products, composite numbers. 4th grade GLCE.

      This is a wonderful student interactive site. The site provides students with opportunities to play games which reinforce addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts. The math games include: Matho bingo, Concentration with Math Facts; Find the Hidden Picture with math facts and flashcards.
    3. BasketMath Interactive Learning
      This is an interactive math site where the students solve problems on common factors. If the answer is correct, the animated basketball player shoots the ball. This site also has the option to play the basketball game with many other concepts such as rounding numbers, perimeter, decimals, and bar graphs. Grades 3 and up.
    4. Flashcards For Kids
      This site allows you to set the number of problems, the level of difficulty, as in "Easy, no negatives; complex up to 10 numbers," as well as the size of the numbers (0-9), (0-99). This is a student activity.
    5. Grand Slam Math
      A fast moving game at different levels to help with addition, subtraction and multiplication and division operations.
    6. Interactive Arithmetic Four
      Play a "Connect-Four" style game, earning a game piece each time you answer an arithmetic question correctly. This game asks the players to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers and integers. Choose difficulty level, question types, and time limit.

      Math Hoops provides word problem practice for students in grades 3 to 5. All word problems use whole numbers but the problems range from single step addition to multistep equations. There are also problems that require students to interpret remainders. Students who answer 5 questions correctly get a chance to play some basketball.

      This is an interactive site for 4th grade and up students to solve decimal problems. Students solve problems in a worksheet type of format.

      A game that has students using money and making descisions about money.       A decimal fraction uses a decimal point to separate whole parts and fractional parts. Whole parts are written to the left of the decimal point and fractional parts are written to the right of the decimal point.
