Teacher inservices and student enrichment activities are provided by the teacher specialists at the Center on a request basis. The structure for each inservice or enrichment is flexible. Some basic structures are listed below. A teacher inservice also includes a booklet with experiments that the teachers will receive at the time of the inservice. The activities in the booklet will include the ones that teacher specialists will demonstrate to the teachers and also others that can be used at a later date. The materials used in the experiments will be provided by the Center, contingent on funding. If funding is not available or limited, the average cost for the inservices will be between $50-$200, depending on the number of teachers involved. The same applies for the student enrichment activities. Each student will also receive a small gift from the Center.
NOTE: Student enrichments are done on a very limited based due to the limited funding of the Regional Mathematics and Science Center. Please call the Center if you have questions regarding these guidelines.
