Message from the Director

The Master of Arts in Teaching/Natural Science is a highly individualized program designed to address the professional development needs of K-12 teachers in Mathematics and Science Education.

The program allows teachers, with advice from higher education professionals, to expand their science and mathematics content knowledge and receive updates on the latest advances in education delivery techniques.  It is designed to align with all the reform efforts in mathematics and science education, especially as it relates to standards, equity and assessment.

Teachers will be able to take advantage of the knowledge and experience of the Saginaw Valley State University science and mathematics content faculty who participate in the program and bring to their K-12 classroom some of the most up-to date content information.
