Workshops and Events

The Math Resource Center offers workshops for MTTC Basic Skills preparation and for Placement Test review.

Students wishing to attend either workshops must register in advance by calling (989)-964-4648 or by sending e-mail to mathtutor(at)svsu.edu .  If no one has signed up for a workshop by noon on the day of the workshop, the workshop will be canceled.

Study materials for the workshops may be obtained in advance by clicking on the following links for MTTC Basic Skills or Math Placement Test and downloading the review materials, in the Math Resource Center (SE 106), or by requesting that a packet be mailed to you. Additional practice materials are provided during the workshop.

ALGEBRA PLACEMENT TEST REVIEW A two-hour program designed to prepare students for the Algebra Placement Test. The focus of each session will be on areas of need as voiced by the participants.The dates of the Placement Test Review workshops will be announced as the registration days are announced. Check back for updates as the semester progresses.
