I graduated in December of 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in History Education.

My responsibilities as an Assistant Director include planning events like Saturday @ the Valley and Cardinal College Days, and meeting with prospective students. ¡Hola! My name is Miranda Garcia. I am from Saginaw, Michigan and I am a graduate of Arthur Hill High School. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish degree here at Saginaw Valley and am proud to be an Alumnus of such a great school! While working on my undergraduate degree here, I was able to witness the special one on one attention our students receive and I got to take advantage of all the resources & tools our school provides. Soon I will be pursuing a Masters of Arts in Administrative Sciences Degree here at SVSU. I believe learning continuously is important no matter what your lifelong goals are.

My main responsibilities in Admissions include traveling across the state visiting various high schools and while in the office, I meet with prospective students to tell them more about SVSU and answer any questions they may have. Most of the students I meet with are prospective freshmen, so I inform them of all they need to know since this is their first time in college, such as Financial Aid, Housing, Campus Life and important dates to keep in mind for registration, orientation, etc. I hope you come check us out and see all that SVSU has to offer!!

Welcome to SVSU! My name is Jennifer Pahl and I graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1995. While at SVSU, I completed both my Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and my Master of Business Administration. My main responsibility in the Admissions Office is advising transfer students from other institutions.

Even though I was only 20 minutes away from home as a student, I was fortunate to live on-campus where SVSU truly became my 'home away from home'. I was involved in numerous activities like being a Resident Assistant (RA) and being a member of great student organizations like Student Government and Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority. SVSU's growth has been amazing over the last 10 years but we still maintain that one-on-one interaction that is so important to all students. Make sure you come visit Cardinal Country and check us out!
