  1. select Options
  2. select Network Preferences
  3. select the Proxies tab
  4. remove the configuration url: http://library.svsu.edu:8080/proxy.pac
  5. click Reload and OK

  4. click on Proxies
  5. click the Automatic proxy configuration button
  6. remove the configuration url: http://library.svsu.edu:8080/proxy.pac

  4. In the Dial-up settings box find the icon with the name of your dial-up service. Click on the icon once to highlight it.
  5. Select: Settings...
  6. Be sure  box next to: "Automatically detect settings" is checked
  7. Be sure the  box next to: "Use automatic configuration script" is checked
  8. remove the configuration url: http://library.svsu.edu:8080/proxy.pac
  9. click on OK
  10. click on OK on the Internet Options menu

  4. Select: LAN Settings
  5. Be sure the box next to: "Use automatic configuration script" is checked
  6. remove the configuration url: http://library.svsu.edu:8080/proxy.pac
  7. click on OK
  8. click on OK on the Internet Options menu

  1. 1. From the top Menu Bar select Tools 

    2. 2. Select Internet Options 
    3. Select the Advanced tab
    4. From the list presented,  be sure the "HTTP 1.1  through proxy connections" is not checked. At the same time, make sure to select the "HTTP 1.1" box. Then click OK. 
     4. Select the Connection tab. 
     5. In the middle "Dial-up connection" box highlight your connection. Then on the right side click the Settings button. 
     6. A screen will appear with three sections. Ignore the "Proxy Server" section. Be sure the following boxes are checked:
    "Automatically detect settings" and "Use automatic configuration script". 
     7. In the space provided remove the configuration URL:http://library.svsu.edu:8080/proxy.pac 
     8. Continue to click OK until you are back to the main browser screen. 
     9. Restart your computer, and then re-open the Internet Explorer program.  NOTE: 
         This is necessary in order for the program to invoke the new settings.
