Locate Books in Print with Reviews
BOOKS IN PRINT WITH
REVIEWS is an online database containing information about thousands
of books, audiocasettes and videos. Title, author, publisher, publication
date, and now reviews are included. In the past library users relied on
the print version of BIP, which contained several volumes arranged by
subject, author, and title. Searches of the database can easily be done
using keyword, author, title, or ISBN/UPC. Unlike the print version, searches
can be limited by status, such as “in print”, “out of
print” or forthcoming. General subject categories can also be searched,
for example, juvenile, history, computers, self-help, sports, medicine
and more.
The online BIP also features the “Forthcoming Book Room” (books scheduled to be released/published in the next 6 months), “Children’s Room” (contains access to thousands of books, audiocassettes and videos for children and young adults) and the “Fiction Room” (providing publisher selected titles and favorite fiction series). A link to author biographies can be found at the top of the screen which also offers access to best sellers and award winners.
Please note the library has only ONE user license. If someone is already searching BIP WITH REVIEWS, you will see the message “Maximum Users Reached”.
