The Zahnow Library provides information resources and services to support the teaching and research needs of the students, faculty and staff of Saginaw Valley State University (see Mission and Goals). Spread over four floors with entrances on the first and second floors, its collections cover a vast array of topics and a multitude of formats. Librarians work collaboratively with faculty to add new materials, a process referred to as collection development. See the Collections page for a thorough description.
Many of the materials housed in the Library may be checked out through the first floor Circulation Desk or the second floor Information Desk. Finding specific items is done through our Classic/CardCat or Encore Discovery online catalogs. See the Library Access page for more information on accessing our online resources from within the Library as well as by the Web. For more information about the library see (Library Statistics) or (Library History)
The Library offers a vast array of services to support instruction and research.
