Library Access for SVSU Students
General Access
- All Library systems use SVSU username and passwords for login authentication
- CardCat accounts are automatically created at the start of each semester.
- Contact the Circulation Desk if you have problems with access.
- This system also covers your MeLCat and off-campus database access
- ILLiad accounts are created the first time you use the system
Print Balance
- Each registered semester students are given a print allocation for SVSU networked computers.
- To check the balance of this account go to https://www.svsu.edu/netserv/printbalance/
- If that amount is exceeded in a semester you may add money to that account at the Library Circulation Desk
- If you have a balance left over at the end of the semester it will carry over to the following semester.
- NOTE: Your semester allocation will be exhausted first before your carryover funds are used
