The main library collections are split between the 3rd and 4th floors
The 4th floor is considered a "quiet" study floor. Group study rooms and study tables are around the floor
There are no service desks on the 4th floor. However, there is a telephone by the elevator that connects to the Circulation Desk should you need assistance
Public Access Computers
There are two computers primarily dedicated to checking call numbers, etc. For writing papers or doing in depth research users are directed to computers on the first two floors
Public Access Rooms
Restrooms are located around the corner and north of the Roberta R. Allen Reading Room
Study rooms and study desks located around the 4th floor
Roberta R. Allen Reading Room (located in south west corner) offers comfortable seating and a wonderful view of campus. Display cases are updated throughout the year
Collections
General Collection (A through HJ call numbers)
These books may be checked out at the 1st floor Circulation Desk or 2nd floor Periodicals Desk
Children's Liberature Collection
These books are located to your left as you exit the elevator or stairway. These books may also be checked out on either 1st or 2nd floors
The fiction collection is arranged by reading level (from picture books to YA) then author and title
The non-fiction collection is arranged by Dewey Decimal call numbers and includes elementary-middle school level resources on a variety of topics.
Staff Offices
Collection Development & Acquisitions Department offices (to your left when leaving the elevator or stairs) including Acquisitions, Collection Development, and Cataloging offices and processing area
