The main library collections are split between the 3rd and 4th floors
The informal portion of the Library is congregated around the open "Cafe" area in the southwest corner. In addition to the open area there are small recreational reading books (see below)
The 3rd floor also houses the Writing Center and some group study rooms located along the north wall and near the stairs
There are no service desks on the 3rd floor. However, there is a telephone by the elevator that connects to the Circulation Desk should you need assistance
Public Access Computers
There are two computers primarily dedicated to checking call numbers, etc. For writing papers or doing in depth research users are directed to computers on the first two floors

Restrooms are located around the corner and north of the Cafe area
Writing Center (located north and behind the elevator/stairs). Please consult their web pages for more information on this excellent service
Study rooms and study desks located around the 3rd floor
ESL Computer Lab (Z-302) is located in the northwest corner of the 3rd floor
Cafe area (southwest corner) is an open space with tables, vending machines and a microwave with a wonderful view of the campus.
The one designated eating and drinking place in the Library, it also contains the donation-based paperback Cafe Collection whose books may be borrowed without checking out.
This collection is not to be confused with the hardcover Popular Reading Collection, located next to the Cafe area, which does require checkout.

These books may be checked out at the 1st floor Circulation Desk or 2nd floor Periodicals Desk
Popular Reading Collection
Located next to the Cafe area across from the elevator and stairs, this collection, arranged by author, may also be checked out on either 1st or 2nd floors
Cafe Collection
Located within the open Cafe area, this collection of paperbacks does not require check out. This collection is made up of donations from Library users for recreational reading
Sheet Music Collection
Pulled from the General Collection area, this collection consists of two parts:
Study scores (also called "miniature scores"). Full sized scores remain in the General Collection
Performance editions (i.e., solo music and ensemble music with performance parts)
