Gifts & Donations
The Melvin J. Zahnow Library of Saginaw Valley State University welcomes gifts and donations to its collections. The Library will accession the gift promptly and initiate its processing within a reasonable period of time, with the goal of adding it, in whole or in part, to the Library’s collections. All gifts and donations are gratefully acknowledged by letter.
Donors of books or other materials are given a Donation Agreement to sign. By signature, donors agree to offer donations to the Library as unrestricted gifts and, with respect to manuscript and other archival materials, relinquish to the Library any literary or copyrights that they possess to the contents, unless limiting conditions are specifically stated. Donors may exercise an option to have unwanted materials returned.
