Instructions on how to run Spybot
- Download software from here.
- After you have the program downloaded and installed.
- Go to Start --> Programs --> Spybot
- Open Spybot
- Click Next through the wizard.
- After Spybot opens, first Search for Updates
- When the software is done searching for updates, select all the updates and have them download.
- Next click on the Immunize button. This will immunize your computer.
- After the above steps are completed, click the Search and Destroy button
- From that window you can click on the Check For Problems button, which will search your computer for spyware.
- After the scan has completed. If there were problems found you then can click on the Fixed Selected Problems button.
- When the problems are fixed you can then exit the program.
