Kompozer Installation Instructions

  • Download Kompozer to your computer
  • After it's finished downloading, unzip the folder to a location where you will be able to retrieve it.
  • Click on the Kompozer folder
  • Right-click on kompozer.exe
  • Click on Send To → Desktop
  • Close Folder
  • Double-click on Kompozer icon on your desktop
  • When Kompozer opens, go to Edit → Publish Settings
  • Insert the following information:
    • Site Name:  SVSU
    • HTTP address:  http://www.svsu.edu
    • Publishing address: netstorage.svsu.edu/public_html
    • Username:  SVSU username
    • Password: SVSU password
    • Click OK
  •  Note on publishing pages:  You will need to save your pages first before you can publish them.
  • We recommend that off-campus users use CoreFTP for publishing their webpages.
