Mac OS X - SVSU Wireless Setup Guide

Step 1: Click on the AirPort icon at the upper left corner of the screen.  Select "Open Internet Connect...".



Step 2: Ensure the AirPort is turned on.  Click on the "802.1X" icon.  If the icon is not present, go to "File" -> "New 802.1X Connection...".



Step 3: Under "Configuration", go to "Edit Configurations".

Step 4: Enter the information as follows and click "OK":

  • Description: SVSU Wireless
  • Network Port: AirPort
  • User Name: Your SVSU Login
  • Password: Your SVSU Password
  • Wireless Network: SVSU
  • Authentication: uncheck all except PEAP



Step 5: Click "Connect".
 
Step 6: Click "Continue" when the "Verify Certificate" window appears.



Step 7: Wait up to 2 minutes for authentication to complete, then go to Step 3 of the registration procedure.
