Out-of-Office Rule for Groupwise Users
To create an exclusive SVSU Out of Office rule in the Groupwise Client follow the instructions below:

Open Groupwise

Click on the Tools Menu, choose Rules

Either Edit an existing rule to modify it, or click on New Button

Select the Out of Office rule to Edit, then click the Edit Button

Define Conditions

Click dropdown menu and choose "From"

Type in: svsu.edu
-
Click End Button and select "Or"
-
Click the next dropdown menu and choose "From"
-
Click middle button and select "does not contain"
-
Type in: *@* (that's asterick-at symbol - asterick)

Click OK
-
Click on Add Action and choose Reply

Check the box to Include the original message, if desired and click OK
-
Type in Subject ("Out of Office" would be ideal here)

Type in the text for the message and click OK

Click Save
-
Enable the rule by placing a checkmark next to it

Click Close
