Support Center
The ITS Support Center provides full-time help desk and technical support for all university owned microcomputer hardware and software, throughout the life-cycle of their computer equipment.
The ITS Support Center provides free phone support for SVSU employees and students experiencing problems with their home computer systems. We do not provide hardware/software support for personally owned systems.
Department Responsibilities:
- Provide first contact phone support for all campus users
- Provide hardware/software technical support for faculty, staff, and lab computer systems; from ordering and installation to maintenance/repair and upgrades
- Provide technical support for ResNet and Wireless users; from account access and network configuration to virus and spyware removal (no hardware or software repair for non-university owned computer systems)
