Susie Conrad, a 2010 alumnus, is currently an English and math teacher at Davison Alternative High School. She credits the‌ Education program for preparing her for this challenging teaching position.

“The fieldwork portion of SVSU’seducation program gave me the opportunity to work with students at all levels – elementary, middle and secondary. The time I spent in these classrooms improved my teaching skills, and I believe that my experiences at SVSU – in and out of the classroom – helped me learn how to handle situations and obstacles confidently and competently in my own classroom today. I love returning to campus with my senior students on their college visits, and have found I love the campus just as much as I did when I was a student.”
