These "perks" are special offers for faculty, staff and adjuncts and not part of the standard salary and benefits packages provided by the University.

| GM Supplier Discount Program | Through the GM Supplier Discount, active SVSU faculty and staff (full and part-time) can take advantage of special supplier pricing to buy or lease up to two eligible new and unused GM vehicles during the model year. Retirees are also eligible. You will need to log on to http://www.gmsupplierdiscount.com/. Enter SVSU’s Company Code 818508. Indicate “Saginaw Valley State University” as the company name. | JoS. A. Bank Discount on regularly priced merchandise | Employees can enjoy 20% off regularly priced items by using the SVSU Corporate Program (ID# 280396) by using the JoS. A. Bank corporate discount card. To obtain a free corporate discount card, employees must provide requested information to one of their sales associates and present proof of of employment with SVSU (proof may include a business card, pay stub, ID card or the providing the company ID number). The associate will give you a personal corporate card and then you can begin to enjoy the discount immediately. | | One of the greatest impediments to using the Internet today is the low speed and relative unreliability of dial-up service. SVSU has teamed up with Charter Communications, SpeedNet, Mercury Network, Air Advantage to provide you with the option of high-speed internet access, where available, at a discounted cost. |

Regular part-time and full-time employees can borrow 90% of the cost of computer hardware and software (excluding sales tax) up to a cap of $4,000. Payment of the loan will be handled through payroll deductions each biweekly payday for a maximum time period of two years (or 52 biweekly paydays). To process the loan paperwork, a copy of the invoices will be required. Allow five business days to process the paperwork. |
