SVSU's Holiday Schedules

SVSU's Holiday Schedule through December 2015

The following holidays are observed:

New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day - July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve Day.

• If any of the above holidays fall on a Saturday, it will be celebrated on the Friday before;
• If any of the above holidays fall on a Sunday, it will be celebrated on the Monday after;
• In the event that Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day should fall on a Friday and Saturday (hence, New Year's Eve Day and New Year's Day would also fall on a Friday and Saturday), the Thursday before will be designated as a holiday;
• In the event Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day should fall on a Sunday and Monday (hence New Year's Eve Day and New Year's Day would also fall on a Sunday and Monday), the Tuesday after will be designated as a holiday.

• December 23 and 26 - SVSU Paid Holiday
• December 27, 28, 29 - Additional Paid Days
• December 30 and January 2, 2012 - SVSU Paid Holiday

Christmas Holiday 2012-13

• December 24 and 25 - SVSU Paid Holiday
• December 26, 27, 28 - Additional Paid Days
• December 31 and January 1, 2013 - SVSU Paid Holiday

Christmas Holiday 2013-14

• December 24 and 25 - SVSU Paid Holiday
• December 26, 27, 30 - Additional Paid Days
• December 31 and January 1, 2014 - SVSU Paid Holiday

Christmas Holiday 2014-15

• December 24 and 25 - SVSU Paid Holiday
• December 26, 29, 30 - Additional Paid Days
• December 31 and January 1, 2015 - SVSU Paid Holiday
