Applicant Information

In order to apply to an open position at SVSU you will need a computer with internet access. A workstation computer is available in the Human Resources office.  If you wish to apply for a position using the HR computer workstation, bring a flashdrive with a copy of your resume and cover letter to upload. 

You will be asked for the following:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • References
 
  • Education
  • Previous employment
  • Previous employer contact information
  • Resume
  • Cover letter

*Required information and documentation varies depending upon the type of position.  Each application will detail required materials needed in order to apply.

Process:

  1. Access our Employment Opportunities website.
  2. Identify and view the position you are applying for. 
  3. Click "APPLY FOR THIS POSITION."
  4. If you are an existing user, enter your username and password and submit your application.
  5. If you are a new user, create a new staff/faculty profile. You will need to create a username and password. 
  6. Upload your electronic resume and cover letter as a PDF or Microsoft Word document.
  7. Submit.

The application document will be immediately viewable by the hiring manager if you meet the minimum requirements.
