Admission Requirements

Master of Business Administration

The following formula is used to determine minimum admission requirements.
GPA* x 200 + GMAT >= 1050 AND GMAT >= 450
* The GPA used covers the last two years of a four year bachelor degree. Jill Wetmore

  • A completed application for graduate admission to include the non-refundable application fee
  • Official copies of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts
  • Official results of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Review materials can be obtained at www.mba.com and select "Take the GMAT" button.  To learn more about SVSU College of Business & Management

  • A current résumé
  • A one-page statement of accomplishments and academic goals
  • Two letters of professional reference

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS must complete the international student application for student admission, including all items listed above as well as:  

  • Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate competence in English. The College accepts a score of 550 or higher on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
  • Submit evidence of financial support
