Dr. Dorne is responsible for graduate student enrollment management and marketing the SVSU graduate programs, including general oversight of the Office of Graduate Admissions. He works closely with many offices, including the Deans, Graduate Coordinators, University Communications, and International Programs, among others, in the implementation of graduate student recruitment and retention initiatives. He chairs the International Programs Advisory Committee and serves as the Coordinator for the Shikoku Faculty Exchange and International Guest Scholar Programs. He also assists the Vice President for Academic Affairs with academic strategic planning and program development, operation of the Office of Academic Affairs, and service on ad hoc campus committees as assigned. Dr. Dorne serves on the President's Staff and on the Council of Deans and Directors.

Laine supports the Office of Graduate Admissions through the marketing, recruitment and development of SVSU graduate programs. She participates in graduate school fairs and other recruitment efforts. Dorothy supports the Macomb and Oakland Regional Education Centers through recruitment and marketing of the graduate, post-graduate and teacher certification programs. Dorothy assists K-12 educators and administrators interested in completing additional endorsements, graduate or post-masters programs. She participates in graduate school fairs, K-12 events and other recruitment efforts.
