The Promise for Tomorrow Endowment Campaign Passes $19 Million Mark

Scholarship Opportunities for Students Will Be Focus of  Annual Fund

United Steelworkers of America Local 12075 Establishes Scholarships in Health Care & Human Services

The United Steelworkers of American (USWA) Local 12075, headquartered in Midland, established two new scholarships for SVSU students, beginning with the 2008-2009 academic year.  The USWA Local 12075 Annual Scholarship in Health Care will assist students majoring in Nursing and other healthcare fields, while the USWA Local 12075 Annual Scholarship in Human Services will provide support for students seeking degrees in fields that better the human condition (e.g., Social Work, Criminal Justice).  Four scholarships will be awarded in all.  

10th Anniversary Class of Roberts Fellows Selected 

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Roberts Fellows Program, an exceptional leadership and international learning experience.  Each year, students who have demonstrated both scholarship and leadership potential are selected to engage in a two-semester program featuring specialized academic coursework, extracurricular activities, and international travel.  For all the details, please click HERE
