Financial Need-Based Scholarships

The following scholarships are available to students who demonstrate financial need (additional criteria may apply). Students are encouraged to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid on an early basis for consideration of these awards. In addition to the FAFSA form, a separate application is required (in most cases).  The award of these scholarships is made by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid and subject to the availability of remaining funds. 

 

Independent Bank

Criteria

  • Undergraduate
  • Returning
  • Full time or Part time
  • Be a 2nd year student
  • Minimum GPA 2.5
  • Financial Need

International Study Abroad Endowed Scholarship

Criteria

  • Returning Undergraduate
  • Full Time
  • Accepted for at least one semester study abroad
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Financial Need
  • Demonstrated interest in languages & different cultures
  • PREF studying in non-English speaking country
  • PREF language majors & minors
