The FNSNA was created in 1969 to honor Frances Tompkins, the Association's first Executive Director. Scholarships are awarded to qualified nursing students annually. Current enrollment and matriculation in a state approved nursing program leading to an associates degree, baccalaureate, diploma, generic doctorate or generic master's degree, or enrolled in an RN to BSN, RN to MSN, or LPN/LVN to RN program.

The Bernard F. and Melissa Anne Bailey Family Fund is a student scholarship program administered by MidMichigan Medical Center - Midland funded through a gift from The Bernard F. and Melissa Anne Bailey Family Fund. The AICPA John L. Carey Scholarship for certified public accountants provides financial assistance to liberal arts degree holders pursuing graduate studies in accounting. These awards are intended to encourage liberal arts undergraduates to consider professional accounting careers.

The goal is to financially assist student currently enrolled in a teacher education program with a mathematics specialty. The award is to be used for tuition, books, labs and fees necessary to fulfill requirements for a BA or BS degree with teacher certification.

The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) is pleased to offer scholarships to students who plan to study in accounting or finance. An IMA student member is eligible for the Memorial Education Fund (MEF) Scholarship and for the Stuart Cameron and Margaret McLeod Memorial (SCMS) Scholarship.
Type of Awards:
MEF Scholarship - All student members, undergraduate or graduate will be awarded scholarships ranging in the amount from $1,000 to $2,500 and an award of the first-year dues post graduation (associate membership dues). An undergraduate student is defined as an individual who carries a minimum of six credit hours for both terms of the current a academic year 2007-2008 and who will be carrying six credits in the upcoming academic year 2008-2009.
SCMS Scholarship - On individual will be selected to receive the prestigious Stuart Cameron and Margaret McLeod Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $5,000. To qualify for the scholarship the student must carry 12 credit hours for the current academic year and 12 credit hours for the year in which the award will be received.

The Mi-AEYC recognizes that emerging professionals need opportunities to work and learn along side leaders in our field. The Student Leadership Scholarship Award provides opportunities for education and leadership to undergraduate students. The purpose of providing this scholarship is to develop a base for future leadership both in the profession and in the organization.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Applicant must have completed a minimum of 60 semester credit hours by the start of the next school year.
2. Applicant must have attained and maintained a GPA of 2.75 or higher.
3. Applicant must be attending or registered for attend a four-year college or university in the State of Michigan that is regionally accredited, or be enrolled in a teacher education program that is approved by the State of Michigan.
4. Applicant must be majoring or minoring in one of the following: Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field, e.g. Early Childhood Special Education, Family Studies.
Award: A scholarship of $1,000.
