The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation College Scholarship Award is to assist students who have lost a parent to breast cancer.
Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible for consideration, the scholarship applicant must:
Award Amount: Five scholarships of up to $10,000 in value may be awarded annually. The scholarships are renewable annually upon proof of satisfactory progress toward the completion of degree.
Deadline: The application deadline is November 1, 2006.

The Midland Cogeneration Venture will award scholarships in June 2008 to five qualifying Midland County residents who are beginning or continuing their post-secondary education.
Eligibility Requirements
The Vocational or Technical Education and Training Grants will be awarded based on a combination of Vocational/Technical criteria, financial need, academic achievement (minimum of 2.5 GPA/GED) and/or
work and life skills, and extracurricular activities.
The Academic Grants will be based on a combination of the Academic criteria, financial need, academic achievement (minimum of 2.5 GPA/GED) and/or work and life skills, and extracurricular activities.
Award Amount: The scholarships will range up to $1,000 per grant.
