The following scholarships are available to graduate students by SVSU academic departments. The awards are made by the respective departments based on academic merit and need (additional criteria may apply). Students are encouraged to submit an application and/or the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form on an early basis.

- Returning Graduate
- Financial need
- Minimum completion of 12 credits
- Leadership/Character
- Mid-Michigan resident
- Recipient ineligible if employer has a tuition reimbursement program
- Enrollment requirement: Full time or Part time student

Patricia Hansel Memorial Nursing Scholarship
Criteria
New or Returning Graduate
- Character/Community service
- Registered nurse
- Preference given to registered nurses
- Nursing GR student specializing in surgical nursing
- Minimum 3.00 ACC GPA
- Demonstrated dedication/professionalism in the field of nursing

- Graduate new
- Attended Delta College and completed Significant course work there
- Preference to leadership potential and community involvement
- New SVSU graduate student in Business

Meadows Family Graduate Grants in Education
Criteria
- Returning Graduate
- Must have completed at least six credit hours toward a degree in the Educational Leadership program on the Master's or Educational Specialist level at SVSU
- Minimum of 3.00 GPA in graduate coursework
- Demonstrate ability or potential to contribute to the field of teaching
- Recipients cannot receive this scholarship if they receive any other scholarship, grant or reimbursement from SVSU or a school system in which employed except for need-based financial aid
