Course Withdrawal Procedures
SVSU students who are withdrawing from classes must follow the procedures at www.svsu.edu/registrar/#withdrawal or by contacting the Registrar’s Office, Wickes 151, (989) 964-4085 E-mail registrar registrar(at)svsu.edu.
Cost of Attending SVSU

Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
FERPA is to protect the privacy of student education records, to establish the right of a student to inspect and review their educational records, and the right of students to have some control over the disclosure of information from their records. Refund Policy
Students who make schedule adjustments resulting in a credit hour load reduction or complete withdrawal from the University may be eligible to receive a refund of tuition and fees. Student Handbook/"Code of Student Conduct"
To obtain information regards to the Student Handbook and the "Code of Student Conduct", go to www.svsu.edu/stuserve/studenthandbook. The Student handbook informs students about many services and programs that are available. The "Code of Student Conduct" informs students about the regulations and procedures in regards to student behavior on and off campus.

Total Withdrawal from Classes/Return of Title IV/Students Who Receive All F Grades
Students who totally withdraw from classes or receive all F grades in any semester may be required to return federal funds for that semester. Information regarding this process can be obtained in the Financial Aid Terms and Conditions or contact: Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid, Wickes Hall, 141, (989) 964-4103.

Satisfactory Academic Progress
All students who receive federal, state and institutional financial aid must meet all requirements of the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Policy. This policy can be obtained at the Satisfactory Academic Progress page or obtain a copy in the SVSU catalog or at the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, Wickes Hall, 141, (989) 964-4103.

Terms of Student Loans, Including of Repayment and Sample Repayment Schedule
To obtain loan repayment information such as repayment options, repayment schedule and other information contact the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, Wickes Hall, Room 141. Students are required to read the "Terms and Conditions of Financial Aid" to review information regarding loans at www.svsu.edu/financialaid. Students must also review their promissory note for any loans that they receive.
