I am interested in the way writing helps us form our identity, and the way hybrid texts fit in our theories of composition. I am also interested in the connections we can make between writing and film and media studies.
My dog, Ranger, is more awesome than your dog. My three kids are also more awesome than your kids. My comic book collection is impressive, but I'll leave open the possibility that yours is better than mine.
Favorite undergraduate moment: Standing at the flag stand on WMU's campus in the middle of the night and yelling as loud as we could. Then running.
Favorite teaching moment: My favorite moment came while I was teaching high school, listening to a freshman offensive lineman, a mountain of a future man, shyly reading his original haiku in front of class.
