Christopher Giroux

Instructor of English

M.A., Wayne State University

B.A., Wayne State University

Christopher, who is currently working towards a Ph.D. at Wayne State, specializes in 20th-Century American literature. His particular focus is on drama. He regularly teaches such courses as ENGL 111, 202, 204, 212, and 272.

Christopher has two cats, Henri and Cosette, both of whom are rather neurotic and capable of 6-ft. vertical leaps.

Favorite teaching moment: When non-readers find books/authors that they love.

Five books Chris would like to have with him if marooned on a deserted island: I'd much rather be stranded in a library. My island of choice, though, is Prince Edward Island.
