... sophomore business management major and University Scholarship recipient. Taqueya says everything she had hoped for her freshman year came true – professors were helpful, class work was manageable, and living on campus gave her a sense of independence.

Taqueya plans to one day own a beauty salon and to help her get there, is excited about adding an entrepreneurship minor to her degree.
