About Us
The English Language Program helps students prepare for university life in the United States. In addition to learning English, the program provides opportunities for students to adjust to American life and culture.
Campus Life
Most international students live on campus and enjoy the same facilities available to all students at SVSU. This participation in campus life helps students to overcome the initial culture shock and learn how to navigate an American university system before they begin to study towards their degree.
Extracurricular Activities
In addition to campus life, on and off-campus activities encourage students to experience various aspects of American life such as cultural programs, field trips, and music. SVSU has more than 400 international students from 38 countries. We promote cultural diversity through festivals and concerts through which students share their cultures and customs.
