Admission Requirements

Master of Science - Energy & Materials

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, or materials science from an accredited college or university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• A completed application for graduate admission with the non-refundable application fee including:
  • Official copies of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts
  • A current résumé
  • A one-page statement of accomplishments and academic goals
  • Two letters of recommendation from professors or employers

International Students must complete the International Student Application for Graduate Admission, including all items listed above as well as:

• Demonstrate a score of 550 or higher on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) [IBT = 79; CBT = 213] for applicants whose native language is not English.
• Submit evidence of financial support
