Transition Meetings for Students with Disabilities
Following selected SOAR dates, a transition meeting will be held in room 112 Curtiss Hall. The transition meeting is for parents and future SVSU students to receive information about disability services offered at Saginaw Valley State University. All parents and students are encouraged to register.
Dates and times the transition meetings will be held are:
- Thursday, May 8, 2008 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
- Friday, May 9, 2008 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
If you decide to attend a transition meeting, you should plan your new student orientation on one of the dates listed above. During the meeting you will receive valuable information regarding:
- Documention Requirements
- Services Available
- Student Responsibilites
- Accommodations
New Students will also be able to meet current students with disabilities and sign up for a student mentor during the transition meeting. Light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP to (989) 964-7000.
