There are several ways to do course searches. An example appears below. Use combinations of the other fields as necessary to further narrow your course search.
General Search

Select Term from the drop-down list box. Term is a REQUIRED field.

| 2 | As desired, select one or more of the checkboxes Online, Hybrid or Honors. Selecting one of these will display all courses for the Term selected that are of that type. If multiple checkboxes are selected, all courses of those types will be displayed. For example, if Online and Honors checkboxes are checked, all Online and all Honors courses will be displayed. Selection of one of these checkboxes is REQUIRED if a Department or Location is not selected. |
| 3 | Select Department from the drop-down list box. If only the Department (e.g. English) is selected, ALL courses for the department selected that are offered during the term you selected will be displayed. Department is REQUIRED if none of the checkboxes Online, Hybrid, Honors or a Location is selected. However, if in addition to selecting a Department (e.g. English), the Honors checkbox is checked, only English Honors courses for the selected term will be displayed. If the Online checkbox is also selected, only English Online and English Honors courses will be displayed. |
| 4 | Select Location to display courses for only a specific location. Department is not required if a Location is selected. By default, the SVSU Main Campus Location is not available. Once any of the checkboxes Online, Hybrid, Honors or a Department is selected, this option will appear in the Location drop-down list box. |
| 5 | Enter Course Number (e.g. English 111) This will display all the sections of English 111 for the term you selected. |
| 6 | Enter Section Number (e.g. English 111 2) This will display only the specific section (one class) you requested. |
| 7 | Click on the Submit button and the results of your search will be returned. |
| 8 | Click on the Search Again link to begin another search. |
