Financial Reporting Services

Financial Reporting Services maintains and provides financial information to the University, including monthly management reporting (Cardinal Direct Budget) and maintenance of the University's General Ledger. This office is responsible to provide:

  • Most external financial reporting including annual financial audit, tax reporting and other miscellaneous reporting requirements as needed.
  • Set up of account numbers, and managers/supervisor changes.
  • Financial reporting to support University Conferencing/Continuing Education, and reconciliation services for the University.

The office maintains and provides financial information for the SVSU Foundation including monthly reporting and annual audit and financial information. The office also provides reporting for Saginaw Valley Research and Development Corporation.
