The application for Student Teaching is completed and submitted on-line nearly one year in advance during the month of March (for the following Winter Semester) and during the month of November (for the following Fall Semester).
You will learn in detail how to fill out the Student Teaching application at the mandatory information meeting held the month prior to the application window. (See Important Dates.) There are four parts to the Student Teaching Application: General, Autobiography, Education, and Academics. The application must be free of errors and up-to-date following the directions given in the information meeting. During the window when the application is open (March and November) you may return to your application and make changes as long as you save and submit after each addition.
On the Student Teaching Application you are asked to choose two counties where you would like to complete your Student Teaching. Although there are no guarantees, we will try our best to honor your choices and to place you in a school district within thirty miles of your home when possible.
