The Dean's Student Advisory Council (DSAC) is comprised of up to 17 student members who have an undergraduate major in the College of Business and Management or are pursuing a Masters in Business Administration. Additionally, memebrs of the DSAC sit on one of three subcommittees to further pursue strategic goals of the council.
We seek to create a strategic balance between administration and the student body within the College of Business and Management by using the views of the students to help influence any changes or decisions to be made within the college. Furthermore, we hold ourselves accountable for providing valuable feed back and effective advice on matters brought forth by the Dean in order to provide a better experience for faculty, staff, and students of the College of Business and Management.
The Academic Achievement subcommittee is charged with enacting initiatives that improve the experiences of CBM students in the realm of academics.
The Student Success subcommittee is charged with facilitating the connections between individual CBM students as well as those students' connections to business faculty.
The Community Connections subcommittee is charged with providing the CBM student body with opportunities for networking and employment in the local area business community.
