Saginaw Valley State University's Port Huron Regional Education Center offers bachelor degrees and teacher certification in elementary and secondary education on the campus of St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron, Michigan. Students who have already earned a bachelor's degree or higher and are seeking teacher certification at the elementary or secondary level may be eligible to complete requirements in Port Huron.     Michigan Test for Teacher Certification (MTTC) Registration Deadline

    The regular registration deadline for the April 18, 2009 test is March 6, 2009. Registration materials, late, and emergency deadline dates to register are located on line at www.mttc.nesinc.com.

    Students who are taking the MTTC in their content area major(s) and minor(s) should consult the SVSU College of Education MTTC websites to assure that they are registering for the correct test(s).

    Special Education majors may refer to either site for testing information.
