Master of Education (M.Ed.)

The Master of Education degree in educational administration and supervision provides opportunities for academic preparation and professional renewal for practicing educators. The M.Ed. program offers a theoretical background and practical experience in school leadership with the major emphasis on educational administration and supervision.

Individuals interested in obtaining a Master of Education degree will complete eighteen (18) credit hours of core coursework and will complete twelve (12) additional hours of coursework in one of the specializations below. All master's degree students (regardless of chosen specialization) will complete a Capstone project during the last six hours of their degree program.

Courses for this degree program are offered on our main campus and at our Macomb and Oakland Regional Education Centers. The M.Ed. degree is offered through our Department of Educational Leadership and Services.
