COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
LITERACY CENTER

for students in grades K-12 and adult learners

About the Center

The Literacy Center at SVSU is located in the College of Education, in a state-of-the-art facility that fosters motivation for reading and utilizes the latest technology.  Students are assessed to determine their strengths and needs in reading. Our tutors then use these assessments to build individualized lesson plans that maximize student potential.  A one hour assessment is necessary for each participant prior to the clinic.

Please contact us at 989-964-4982 for details.  A nominal deposit is due at or before this assessment.

While the students are participating in the clinic, parents or guardians can browse the Regional Education Resource Center, enjoy a cup of coffee at a campus dining facility, or maybe just enjoy some quiet time!
